Yes! Our free Spark plan lets you create one website and get a feel for Comet before deciding whether you need more.

Comet currently offers three plans:

• Spark, free — a simple way to create your first Comet website.
• Signal, £5 per month — for people who want more features and flexibility.
• Galaxy, £12 per month — for users who need higher limits and more room for their website to grow.

You'll always be able to see exactly what's included on our pricing page before upgrading.

Yes. You can upgrade your plan as your website grows. Where possible, we want your Comet account to be flexible so you're not locked into features you no longer need.

Yes. You can cancel your paid Comet plan at any time. Your cancellation will take effect according to your current billing period, and you'll be able to see what happens to your website before confirming your cancellation.

Refunds depend on the circumstances and the type of subscription you purchased. You can read the full details in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

If you cancel a paid plan, your site may return to the limits of the free Spark plan once your paid access ends. If anything on your website exceeds those limits, we'll explain what needs to be changed before your plan ends. We won't intentionally delete your work without giving you clear information first.

If Comet introduces transaction fees, these will always be clearly displayed before you enable the relevant feature. Third-party payment providers such as Stripe may charge their own processing fees separately.

Yes. If you already own a domain, you'll be able to connect it to your Comet website. You'll continue to own and manage your domain through the company you purchased it from.

Not currently. You'll need to purchase your domain separately and then connect it to your Comet site. We'll provide instructions to help you through the process.

The number of websites you can create depends on your plan. Spark includes one website, while paid plans include additional website allowances.

Yes. You can upload your own images and use them throughout your website, including in individual image blocks and galleries.

Where supported, you'll be able to add video content to your website. Some plans may have different storage or upload limits depending on the size of your files.

Yes. Different Comet plans include different storage allowances. You'll be able to see your available storage within your account, and we'll let you know if you're getting close to your limit.

Comet may support integrations that allow you to take payments or connect services such as print-on-demand platforms. Availability may depend on your plan and the integrations you choose to use.

Yes. Comet websites are designed to work across desktop, tablet and mobile devices. We still recommend previewing your website on different screen sizes before publishing.

Of course. Publishing your website doesn't mean it's finished forever — you can continue editing and updating it whenever you need to.

Yes. Open Publish and choose "Take website offline". Visitors will see that the website isn't available, but nothing is deleted — publish again whenever you like and it comes straight back.

Yes. Deleting a website takes it offline and removes it from your account straight away. We keep a copy for 30 days in case it was a mistake — contact us within that time and we can restore it. After 30 days it is permanently erased, along with any uploaded images and videos no other website of yours uses, and the storage it used is freed.

Yes, provided you have permission to use any content you upload and your use complies with our Terms of Service.

Yes. Your photographs, writing, videos, designs and other original content remain yours. By using Comet, you simply give us the permissions necessary to store and display that content as part of your website.

You own the content you create and upload. Comet provides the software and infrastructure that allows your website to be built and hosted. More information about ownership and licensing can be found in our Terms of Service.

Comet takes steps to protect and securely store website data, but we still recommend keeping your own copies of important original files such as photographs, videos and written content.

We take security and privacy seriously and use trusted services to help operate Comet safely. You can read more about how we collect, store and process information in our Privacy Policy.

Comet's own website and account area don't currently use any cookies — we use your browser's local storage instead. If you connect Google Analytics to a website you've built, that website will use cookies too, but only once a visitor agrees. You can find the full details in our Cookie Policy.

Yes. Comet is designed to be available internationally. Some services, payment methods or third-party integrations may vary depending on your country.
